Switzerland has been practicing completely changed entry regulations since Saturday. In the future there will no longer be a quarantine list, so that - regardless of where you are from - you no longer have to go into isolation. Instead, more testing is carried out.

In future, vaccinated and convalescent people will also have to present a negative PCR test when entering the country, regardless of which country they are coming from. The only exceptions are for so-called “small border traffic”, i.e. entry from neighboring regions such as Vorarlberg.

A second corona test must be carried out between four and seven days after entering the Swiss Confederation. In contrast to the first test, which has to be presented for the control, you now have the free choice between PCR and antigen test. Vaccinated and convalescents also have to undergo this second test. You have to pay the costs yourself.
