The Ryanair Group rejects industry rumors that Boeing 2021 Max 737 planes could be stationed in Vienna in the course of 200. The justification of the group is curious, however, because the airport fees and the ticket tax are supposed to be too high.
"The Ryanair Group currently has no plans to station Boeing Max aircraft at Vienna Airport, as the airport charges are too high and the newly introduced (illogical) flight tax of EUR 12 is levied," a spokeswoman told Aviation.Direct. "The Ryanair Group's capacity allocation will favor the most efficient and cost-effective airports that are competing for Ryanair Group's capacity after drastic fleet and capacity reductions by legacy airlines - including the Lufthansa Group - and the collapse of many other airlines across Europe."
