The Star Alliance member Turkish Airlines has given the Airbus A330 with the registration TC-JNM a special sticker in favor of the Uefa Champions League. The machine was used for the first time in this design on January 1, 2023 under flight number TK1821 between Istanbul and Paris-Charles de Gaulle.

The background to the special livery is that Turkish Airlines is the official sponsor of the football event. The final game is also to be played in 2023 in the Turkish metropolis of Istanbul. CEO Ahmet Bolat said: "We will host the 2023 UEFA Champions League final in Istanbul as one of the official sponsors. We are happy to be part of this important event, which also takes place in the 100th year of our republic. anniversary of our republic. As this is one of the most significant sponsorships in Turkish sporting history, our UEFA Champions League themed aircraft is a testament to our commitment to sport.”

According to official information, the special decals were applied by the group's own technology company, Turkish Technic. The time required is said to have been around four working days. The carrier also hopes that the Uefa Champions League design will attract more attention from spotters.
