Austria's largest airport, Vienna-Schwechat, is currently selling a number of vehicles, petrol pumps and other items that are no longer needed for the highest bid via Troostwijk Auctions. Such auctions occur more frequently, but this time the sometimes poor condition of the goods is striking.

For example, the three former follow-me cars on offer are obviously badly damaged. This is an indication that they may have had an accident at some point in the past. The cars no longer leave a drivable impression.

Also available: A fire brigade bus with a very interesting history. This vehicle was originally designed by Dr. Richard operated on behalf of Wiener Linien. It was later sold to Flughafen Wien AG. The former bus was turned into a mobile operations center for the fire brigade. Since the bus was already red, there was no need to repaint it. But there were blue lights on the roof.

In addition to car tires for BMW X5, electric scooters, cars, vans, floor cleaners, generators, petrol pumps and fuel dispensers, there is also a lawn scarifier and many other discarded items. The auction runs until March 9, 2023 and anyone who has always wanted to own an aircraft tow bar could also get their money's worth. The online auction catalog is located under this link at Troostwijk Auctions.
