During the Austrian autumn holidays 2023, Ryanair will offer additional flights from Vienna-Schwechat on some routes. The carrier is launching 24 additional rounds for a total of 67 destinations.

In the 2023/24 winter flight schedule, the destinations Cagliari, Chania, Heraklion, Kalamata, Kos and Palermo will also be served. So far, the destinations mentioned have been seasonal connections that were only offered during the summer periods.

In the press release, Ryanair does not skimp on taunting Austrian Airlines: ”Ryanair's largest October flight schedule to/from Vienna offers passengers the widest choice at the best prices when booking their well-deserved autumn break. Without Ryanair's low-fare offering, Vienna's residents, visitors and their families would be forced to pay absurdly high prices with the supposed "national airline" AUA."

“Ryanair wants to make sure you and your family can travel for the autumn break with the lowest fares and unbeatable choice. We are pleased to expand our already extensive flight schedule at Vienna Airport with additional routes to some of our most popular destinations and to add six new routes for winter 2023. Inexpensive flights to Faro, Palermo, Mallorca, Barcelona, Malta and many other destinations during the autumn holidays can now be booked. Since the low fares will sell out quickly, our passengers should book their next flights as soon as possible www.ryanair.com book so you don't miss anything," says Ryanair's Andreas Gruber.
