The lowcoster in Salzburg has not even started yet, but another destination has been announced with the Bulgarian coastal city.

On July 25, 2020, the Hungarian low-cost airline Wizzair will open another route from Salzburg. The carrier will fly to the Bulgarian destination Varna on Tuesday and Saturday. The route is to be served with aircraft of the type Airbus A320.

“It is a great pleasure for me to announce the start of the new route from Salzburg to Varna, so shortly after Wizz Air started operations at Salzburg Airport. Today's announcement underscores our long-term commitment in Salzburg and for the Austrian aviation market. Our goal is to offer our Austrian passengers more and more affordable travel options. We invite all travelers to discover these and other great European destinations with one of the youngest and most modern aircraft fleets and to enjoy the low tariffs and services on board Wizz, ”said WIzz spokesman András Rado.
