The Ryanair Group plans to expand in the coming year with the subsidiary Lauda Europe in Zagreb. With Bratislava and Corfu, the first two new routes have been announced for 2022.

From March 27, 2022, two weekly rotations between the capitals of Slovakia and Croatia are to be carried out. Boeing 737-800s from the Polish Buzz, which are stationed in Bratislava, will be used. The flight should be on Wednesday and Sunday.

The plan is to fly between Zagreb and Corfu with aircraft from Lauda Europe from June 4, 2022. It is currently planned that two weekly circuits, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, should be carried out. Aircraft of the type Airbus A320 are used.

Three aircraft of this type, operated by the Maltese company Lauda Europe, are currently stationed in Zagreb. The sister companies Ryanair DAC, Buzz and Malta Air fly from other bases into the Croatian capital. In terms of frequencies and capacity, the Ryanair Group has the Top dog Croatia Airlines meanwhile overtaken.
