Corona rapid tests are now also offered at Back-Kloten Airport. These can be used in the “Amavita” pharmacy, which is located in the former ID office on the first floor of Check-in 2. It is, however, necessary to make an appointment by telephone.

The cost is 57,50 Swiss Francs. However, the state pays the costs for people who are suspected or have typical symptoms. The swab required for the antigen test is taken by a healthcare professional. For the time being, the offer is only available from 11:30 a.m. to 13:30 p.m. The result should be available after 15 minutes and will be communicated to the test subjects in person or, alternatively, by telephone.

Zurich Airport announced in a press release that the PCR tests offered in the Airport Medical Center are still available. Some states require a negative PCR result for entry into the country. Most countries do not currently recognize antigen results.
