The year 2020 is slowly but surely drawing to a close. Much has happened that was considered unthinkable just a year ago. Hardly any other industry is as badly shaken as aviation and tourism. The hopes are now on nationwide vaccination coverage of the world population.

It is still completely unclear whether this will lead to a solution to the problem and thus to the lifting of the entry and quarantine restrictions. Also, nobody knows whether the market will change fundamentally after all and whether demand will pick up again extremely slowly. All of this will be shown by the events of the next weeks and months.

But now Christmas is just around the corner. This year everything is different and hopefully with the vast majority in a smaller circle than in previous years. But that shouldn't prevent us all from calming down a little and being able to recharge our batteries for the challenges of 2021. We will all need these.

With this in mind, we wish all readers a Merry Christmas and thank you very much for your interest in Aviation Direct. After the Christmas holidays we will be available to you again to the usual extent.

With the following quote we “say goodbye” to the Christmas season and wish you all the best and the most pleasant and relaxing days possible:

The goal of life is good.

(Leo Tolstoy, 1828-1910)
