The German shipping company Aida is completely canceling the winter season of the cruise ship Aidaluna. This should remain in port until at least March 30, 2022. The planned Caribbean trips were cancelled.

According to Aida, it is currently contacting the affected customers. They should be able to choose between rebooking and reimbursement of the travel price. The shipping company is currently planning that this ship will not set sail again until March 30, 2022.

“Due to the changing framework conditions in recent weeks, Aida Cruises has already made additions to its comprehensive health protocols. In order to be able to continue to offer its guests a comfortable holiday with the greatest possible safety and the usual service, Aida Cruises is focusing its offer in the Caribbean on two Aida ships and is interrupting Aidalune's cruise operations for the remainder of the 2021/2022 winter season," says the shipping company. "For our guests, this means that we are suspending Airdaluna voyages departing from January 29 to February 26, 2022, as well as voyages from the Caribbean to Hamburg departing on March 6 and 12 until March 30, 2022."
