From December 25, 2021, Österreichische Postbus AG will be offering a tourist feeder to the Ausseerland with the Ski-Thermen-Express. The buses run up to twice a day from Graz Central Station.

From there it goes over the Tauplitz mountain lift valley station, Bad Mitterndorf center to the Grimming Therme. According to the Postbus, a one-way ticket costs 22 euros. Online reservations are recommended. However, payment is only made to the bus driver.

Since this offer is formally run as a coach route, so-called 2G proof is required and must be presented to the driver. This regulation also applies to the use of the ski lifts based on an ordinance of the federal government.

“With the Ski-Thermen-Express, we are working with the region to create a great, convenient mobility offer so that private cars can simply be left at home. We look forward to bringing as many relaxation seekers as possible safely, comfortably and environmentally friendly into nature, to the ski area and to relax in thermal baths, ”explains Postbus traffic manager Styria Roland Schretthauser.
