January 2022: Wizz Air had around 2,3 million passengers

In January 2022, the low-cost airline Wizz Air carried a total of 2.396.684 passengers. This was significantly higher than the same month last year, in which 573.692 travelers were on board. However, it is still a long way from the pre-crisis figure.

Wizz Air had a load factor of 2022 percent in January 79,6, more than in December 2021 (75,4 percent). However, the carrier reduced due to the omicron corona variant the offer early.

In August 2021, Wizz Air reached its preliminary high with 3.581.788 passengers. Since then, the carrier has been on a downward trend, but at a slower pace than its competitor Ryanair. Utilization at Wizz Air has fluctuated minimally up and down since September 2021.
