Plantours wants to set sail again with the MS Hamburg from March 2022. However, they only want to let fully vaccinated people on board. If the second stitch is more than three months ago, proof of a refresher is also required.

The company also announced that the recovered status is considered insufficient. As a result, the Europe season, which will start in March 2022, will only be open to those who have been vaccinated. This is justified, among other things, with the routing of the MS Hamburg. The eight countries headed for have different entry requirements.

Proof of recovery is still accepted on the four river cruise ships. Those who have not been vaccinated or have not recovered are not allowed on board. “Thanks to our strict hygiene concept, we had a successful Antarctic season without interrupting our journey. After the current and long-term planned routine shipyard time for the Hamburg class work, we are also maintaining the consistent course for our departures from Europe and from Germany," explains Managing Director Oliver Steuber in a broadcast.

We were in Antarctica and South Georgia with the Ms Hamburg from the end of November to c21 12th 2021. It was very, very nice for the third time. The entire ship team has put a lot of effort into ensuring that you can experience an unforgettable holiday under difficult Coros conditions. All of the negative reports on social media are in some cases greatly exaggerated. Because some guests were themselves to blame for their situation, if you don't follow the rules, it goes the other way. You should also consider that you are not only a victim, but also dragged around 3 passengers who also had to suffer. TO THE NEXT trip with ms Hamburg
