From the forthcoming summer season 2022, the Maltese-flagged shipping company Sea Cloud Cruises will only allow people on board who can prove three vaccinations against Covid-19. This applies to both the passengers and the crews.

Sea Cloud Cruises will set sail in April 2022 with a total of three tall ships. According to their own statements, they have made a commitment that only people who can prove a so-called booster vaccination are allowed on board. It is believed that this is the best way to offer passengers the greatest possible safety.

Furthermore, in the course of embarkation, participation in a rapid corona test is required. On top of that, it is recommended that passengers should undergo a PCR test at their own expense before departure. However, the latter is not a basic requirement in order to be able to take part in the excursion.
