In February 2022, accommodation providers in Vienna recorded a total of 411.000 overnight stays. This was well above the previous year's volume, but it was only 57 percent of the value it had in February 2019.

Since the beginning of the year, 723.000 overnight stays (+463 percent compared to 2021) have been counted. The net overnight sales of the accommodation establishments for January 2022 are also evaluated: 15,4 million euros correspond to an increase of 137 percent compared to January 2021. The January sales are thus around 70 percent below their 2019 level.

In February 2022, Vienna recorded over 400.000 overnight stays, which corresponds to a calculated increase of almost 500 percent compared to February of the previous year. The result is still 57 percent below the result from February 2019

116.000 overnight stays were counted from Austria (+201 percent compared to the same period of the previous year), followed by Germany (68.000, +673 percent), Italy (18.000, +1435 percent), Spain (15.000, +4614 percent), the USA (13.000, +1151 percent), France (15.000, +1829 percent), Ukraine (11.000, +1101 percent), Romania (10.000, +617 percent), Great Britain (13.000, +1173 percent) and Israel (8.000, +5067 percent) in the top 10 of the year so far.
